ATLANTA - John Turner, candidate for Fulton County District Attorney, was endorsed today by the Atlanta Journal. This endorsement comes as no surprise since John was recently endorsed by the Atlanta Constitution.

The article stated "If they (Republican voters) are serious about unseating the incumbent in November, they should nominate John Turner." The article noted that "Turner�s variety and depth of experience make him the better choice" in the Republican Primary.

Further, the article cited John�s 16 plus years experience as a prosecutor and Assistant District Attorney.

John�s recent endorsement by the Atlanta Constitution was the "wind behind the sail" John said.   "I have been acknowledged as the only candidate with the experience and knowledge to handle the office of District Attorney." The Constitution endorsement stated "He has excellent credentials for this post," and "He has an impressive grasp of the District Attorney Office�s operations and of the law."

John is very pleased with these endorsements and looks forward to the challenge of unseating the incumbent in November.

John ended his statement with "Together we can make a difference to the citizens of Fulton County by convicting criminals. As District Attorney, that is my promise."
